Flameslayers

The Flameslayers are descendants of an older, informal group from the (once kingdom) province of Kaernthen, that is dedicated to the eradication of dragons in the mortal plane. They are famed for their ability to ride griffons into battle and follow dragons into the clouds if need be.

The original order arose from the threat of the Valmérian Dragonriders that roamed the southeastern reaches of Lilac Bay. After they united with the The Pheagon Empire and won the Cloud War against Valméria (Imperial Province), they turned against the kingdom of Kaernthen when the Empire attacked to conquer it. Ever since, the order has been loathed by the local populace, even more so than the Valmérians.
